10.22.11 General Assembly SURVEY work group notes

Brief overview of notes from the Issues Survey work group:
Group will take the list of issues brainstormed with full Assembly and edit into non-duplicated issues list. We will look for the best tool we can access to put a survey out. Probably will be a two part survey.
Step 1: Open up for additional issues to be added to the list from people who were not present at today’s Assembly. Have this step be open for X amount of time (one week? two).
Step 2: Add all issues together and open for “voting”. This step needs to be flushed out still. Will Survey Monkey work as a tool for this? Are there better online survey tools we could use? Voting open for X amount of time (two weeks?).
The whole process could take up to a month. Survey work group will work with the Communications work group to help get the survey information out there beyond attendees of the General Assemblies.
Survey work group will meet before Saturday the 29th to flush out a process and proposal to bring to the General Assembly on the 29th.
