Occupy Central Vermont

Come one, come all!  Occupy Central Vermont will be marching with the Central Vermont chapter of the Women’s International League for Peace & Freedom (WILPF) in Montpelier’s annual Independence Day Parade on Tuesday, July 3rd.  The theme of our radical contingent is the growing and harmful economic inequality in this country.  If you are concerned and angry and want to do something about it, march with us.  Meet up first on Summer Street (near Hubbard Park) at 5:30 pm.  Look for the Occupy Central Vermont banner.  The parade begins at 6:00 pm sharp.  This is a splendid opportunity to get out our message to thousands of people.

On July 4: For the second parade, we are gathering in Cabot at the fire station on the main drag. We’ll gather at 10:30. Ask for Kennie to see where we are in the line-up or look for our banner.
