Dear Friends,
On October 26th at 6 pm we are having a City Meeting. It will be at Montpelier High School and begins with a community supper. Please come for a lively discussion and a free supper.
Great places, like Montpelier, don’t happen accidentally. Our businesses, families, seniors, and children all contribute to our community. One of the ways we all support our great City is through public investments.
How do we pay for roads and services? How do we keep our downtown vibrant? How do we support our neighborhoods? Let your City Council know what you think.
Help us build a budget which is equitable and supports our values.
We often say we wish we had a town meeting—this is it. We are beginning to develop next year’s budget. Please come on October 26th at 6 pm for our City meeting and help us create a budget which supports our community.
Sincerely,
Mary S. Hooper, Mayor
